Cinco Sangria

In celebration of this year’s Cinco de Mayo, I’ve created a flavor-punched sangria. This robust Spanish punch includes plums, apples, strawberries, raspberries, white wine and apple brandy. I hope that while you are practicing social distancing, you are still able to be gathered by loved ones (no more than 10) this Cinco de Mayo and enjoy this Cinco Sangria.

Ingredients

Two black plums Two red apples Bunch of raspberries A bottle of white wine-I used pinot grigio ¼ cup of apple brandy

Directions

  1. Slice the plums and apples and place in pitcher.

  2. Add raspberries.

  3. Add the bottle of wine and the apple brandy.

  4. Stir together and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.

I’ll be honest I had a glass the following night of making this drink and it was delicious, the fruit stoked up so much alcohol. Remember a refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours before you serve it, but you can enjoy it 24 hours after too, if any happens to be left.

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this time.
